Andrew has been with Teccweb for 14 months, and for the past 8 months, he’s served as our Director, Business Development.
His role is all about building relationships — with direct customers, Epicor, and Epicor Service Partners — and turning opportunities into successful partnerships.
"I enjoy and take pride in my ability to listen and build relationships. It’s rewarding to do that with a product I both have experience in and truly believe in.”
No two days are ever quite the same for Andrew, but they all start with one key priority: responsiveness.
“I make sure to respond to all emails and lead opportunities in a timely fashion. From there, I attend meetings for new or ongoing sales opportunities, participate in internal strategy or team-building sessions, and handle any ad-hoc requests that come my way.”
His work relies on a handful of key tools — Outlook, Teams, ConnectWise, and Power BI — to stay connected and on top of every opportunity.
Working mostly from home, Andrew has set up a dedicated office with plenty of natural light — an ideal space to focus and think strategically. To stay organized, he leans on SmartSheets, Outlook Calendar, Microsoft To Do, and a CRM.
Andrew’s days are filled with communication and collaboration.
He interacts with a variety of people: Direct Customers, Epicor RMO, Service Partners, and internally with Teccweb’s Directors and Team Leads. Communication happens primarily through email, Teams chat, and virtual meetings.
“A successful collaboration means our strategy is aligned and actionable. It’s even better when those collaborations lead to real projects and wins.”
Every role comes with challenges, but for Andrew, those are balanced by the satisfaction of helping others succeed.
“The most challenging part is ensuring external contacts get the most they can out of Epicor Kinetic, but that’s also the most rewarding part — knowing I helped someone unlock more value from the solution.”
When the workday wraps up, Andrew shifts gears with a mix of relaxation and creativity. He enjoys cooking, BBQing, jogging, listening to podcasts or music, and watching TV.
He’s also passionate about mixology, trying elaborate recipes, and attending live entertainment — from sports and concerts to musicals.
For anyone considering a career like his, Andrew has a few words of wisdom:
“Be passionate, be a good listener, and enjoy working with others. Communicate continuously and always try to go beyond the minimum.”
And one thing he wishes more people understood about sales?
“A sale is much more complex than it looks. There are phases and cycles, from business development to closing. It’s about building trust and delivering value every step of the way.”
Andrew’s approach to business development combines empathy, strategy, and a genuine belief in the product — a balance that perfectly reflects Teccweb’s values.
